The Team at Long Grove Dental Studio
Michele Aich – Office Manager
Michele is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, with a history in the dental field that dates back over 20 years. She’s been with our office since 2011. Michele is also a CareCredit consultant with over a decade of experience, and a dental business consultant. Michele is busy at the office overseeing the many administrative aspects of our dental office, helping to present/review treatment plans, welcoming patients, verifying and filing your insurance claims, and going out of her way to always ensure your experience with us is positive and friendly. Michele says the office is unique because it provides patients like you with advanced dentistry completed carefully in a clean office that’s home to some of the most state-of-the-art technology available in dentistry today. Michele is happily married to Luis with two daughters Olivia Grace and Penelope Lola.
Sadi Shouldice – Patient Coordinator
We welcomed Sadi to the Long Grove Dental Studio family in 2015. Since then she’s been tasked with welcoming you to the office for your visit, filing your insurance claims, answering your phone calls, helping you with paperwork, and scheduling your appointments. Sadi also has experience as a dental assistant working alongside Dr. DeMars, and she currently oversees our Clear Correct orthodontic cases. Sadi praises the team’s unique bond with patients and how everyone strives to make sure you feel at home every time you walk into our office. Said is engaged to her fiancee Chris and has a daughter Brooklynn.
Anna Yermol – Hygienist
Anna graduated from Harper College over two decades ago and has been a part of our team since 2013. As a registered dental hygienist, some of Anna’s important responsibilities around the office include checking your medical history, performing your oral cancer screening, checking your gums and teeth, taking x-rays/intraoral photos, and cleaning your teeth. Anna enjoys the one-on-one contact she gets to have with her patients and working alongside a dedicated and motivated team where everyone goes out of their way to make sure you understand what’s happening during treatment so you can feel relaxed. In her spare time, you’ll probably find Anna spending time with family including her son Val, daughter Dasha, and husband Almantas. She’s also passionate about skiing, mountain biking, wild mushroom hunting, and camping.
Jenette Goecke – Hygienist
Jenette graduated from William Rainey Harper College and has nearly two decades of dentistry experience. She also holds a certification in anesthetics. At the office, we rely on Jenette to review dental hygiene instructions with you for personalized, caring patient education. She’s also responsible for an exceptional patient experience for you by taking digital and panoramic x-rays, using an intraoral camera to photograph your teeth, and providing a gentle, yet thorough cleaning for your smile. Jenette says one of the best parts of working in a fun, laid back environment is getting to help people while listening to their life stories. Jenette enjoys spending quality time with her family, including three kids, when she’s not in the office.
Alex Musial – Hygienist
Alex graduated from the College of Lake County in 2012, and we’re thrilled she’s become part of the family at Long Grove Dental Studio. Alex will tell you that she loves being a dental hygienist partly because she enjoys helping patients understand the importance of good oral health and making them feel happy when they’re in the office. As part of our team, Alex takes great pride in being attentive to your concerns and comforts. She’s making it her mission to change the perspective people have about their oral health.
Kelli Gottstein – Dental Assistant
With over 20 years experience in dentistry (she’s worked in orthodontics and endodontics), Kelli certainly knows a thing or two about how to keep your smile healthy. She’s trained in digital dentistry, with special certifications in coronal polishing and sealants, and administration of nitrous oxide sedation. When she’s not helping patients or her fellow Long Grove Dental Studio team members, Kelli is usually finishing lab work and creating beautiful, custom, same-day CEREC crowns using state-of-the-art technology. Kelli says she enjoys the relationships she has with everyone in the office and helping people feel better about coming to the dentist. She loves music and concerts, particularly the Grateful Dead, spending time with her children Winter and Jack, being outdoors, and traveling.
Sarah Cartier – Dental Assistant
Sarah has been assisting the team and the doctor since 2018. She enjoys helping her fellow team members and making sure you feel comfortable during treatment. Sarah will tell you that what she likes best about working in dentistry is having the ability to help contribute to your oral health and overall wellbeing. It’s easy, she says, when you work in an office where no matter what, the patient’s needs always come first. When Sarah is not in the office, you’ll probably find her riding horses or working on cars.
